Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (404) 256-7934. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is henrisbakery.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 452 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian deli in Sandy Springs and suggests consistent service.

Sandy Springs is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sandy Springs follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I am not sure where to start all of the employees were too at 3:16pm they were more focused on closing and cleaning up then help the customers. No one said hello, offered suggestions or even smiled. all the cookie were take out of the case and the sandwich person was talking to someone on his airpod. It’s my wife’s b day and all she wanted was Henri’s and Peonis from trader joe’s.

Cannot speak highly enough about not only the transparency in pricing but the willingness to ensure our staff were taken care of for lunches. The sandwiches came with fresh French bread, fresh cookies and delightful pasta salad. To say the staff was pleased is an understatement. Thank you to Ashlyn who coordinated the order as well as the delivery staff who ensured we all ate at the requested time. We also utilized them for a Corporate visit where the visitors raved about their pastries and shortbreads. We are looking forward to continue doing business with a vendor that respects our time, our money and did everything in their power to earn our business. I’ve been a regular customer at Henri’s Bakery for quite some time and have always enjoyed their excellent selection of pastries. The quality of the baked goods is consistently great, and until today, I would have gladly given them five stars based on both the pastries and the friendly service I’ve received over the years. Unfortunately, my experience today was disappointing. An older woman working at the counter was quite rude and unfriendly during my visit. This was surprising and disappointing because it was completely inconsistent with the positive experiences I’ve had there in the past. I still enjoy Henri’s pastries and appreciate the good service I’ve generally received, but this interaction left a negative impression. I hope this was an isolated incident and that future visits reflect the welcoming atmosphere I’ve come to expect from Henri’s Bakery. I will update my review in the future if it’s fixed.

I went to the Sandy Springs location to order a birthday cake for a joint celebration. The names I requested on the cake were quite unique and I was sure to confirm the correct spelling of the names. When I received the cake, the spelling was correct, however the scripting on the cake was unacceptable and the appeared as if one of the names was spelled incorrectly. I quickly called the bakery to see how this issue could be resolved. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time to have the scripting on the cake fixed before the celebration. I spoke with Jasmine and expressed my concern. She immediately offered her apologies and mailed a gift card along with a personalized letter taking accountability for the issue. Overall the guests enjoyed the cake and said it was delicious! Thank you for taking care of the matter Jasmine!

Stopped in for a quick, good, no frills lunch. The sandwiches were actually quite good! My table had a Reuben and a Club. The Reuben with pastrami (they give you an option of pastrami or corned beef) was really tasty. It was a fair price at $9 for the amount of meat (though I would have doubled the meet if given a level up option). Service was good enough, but not overly engaging — not dissatisfied, but wasn’t wowed either. Overall, I’d go back!
